E is for End Note by Sonya Loveday

So my E post features a book that is a second book in a series.  Normally I wouldn't write about a sequel only because of spoilers but this book was just too good.

End Note is book two of the six series.  The six, well really the seven if you include Riley follows a group of boys that all the girls in the area have deemed the sexy six. Ace, Jared, Eli, Marc, Aiden, and Josh. In the first book The Summer I fell the story revolves around Riley as she gets used to everyone leaving to start their lives. In the book it is revealed that over the years each boy has at sometime fell in love with Riley but her heart has always belonged to Ace.

The Second book is Jared's story.  An aspiring rocker, he gets picked to head a band that just lost their lead guitarist and ships himself to California to start his musical career.  While there he ends up falling for his manager Woody's niece Murphy. While the book starts off as a romantic love story.  Suddenly things start to change. Secrets revolving around his past start popping up and soon not only is he trying to win over Murphy's heart but he is also dodging some bullets as well.  I love the six series so much!  I love the boys and the friendship they have with each other.  I also enjoy the love story with Murphy and Jared.  Murphy is one of those headstrong girls you have to love. Jared is that charismatic, juvenile, hilarious boy that you just can't help swooning for. If you love a good romance, along with a little action.  You should definitely read End Note by Sonya Loveday.

Riley Clifton can’t remember a time when she wasn’t a part of the Six, a group of rowdy boys who would do just about anything for her. Growing up alongside of six guys is never easy. Especially in high school. Falling in love with one of the Six? Even harder when Ace has a hold of her heart, and he doesn’t even know it.
Jake (Ace) Aceton has loved Riley for a long time, but has kept the secret oath of the Six. Riley was off limits. At least until after graduation. When he overhears Riley admitting to her best friend, Paige how she feels about him, Ace doesn't let his chance slip by. Riley, in his mind, has always been his.
When her college plan falls through, and her future is left to the hands of fate, Riley finds herself scrambling to keep up with all the changes. But that's not the hardest part. The hardest part is saying good-bye, especially to Ace.

Heartache, hard lessons, and a love deeper than her Alabama roots will threaten to crumble Riley’s world as she waits for Ace’s return.

Will Riley and Ace’s love be strong enough to hold them together when life tries to tear them apart?

Being stranded in L.A. wasn’t the best start to Jared Jackson’s music career. In fact, it should have been the forewarning that things were not what he thought they’d be. Especially when he’s collected from the airport by the band manager’s sharp-tongued niece.
The draw for Jared is immediate. In his heart, he knows Skylar Murphy is the girl for him. Proving it to her, however, is a whole other story.
As new friendships are forged with his bandmates, Jared learns that the guys are planning to start their own band, effectively severing their band manager’s control.
With his future in peril, Jared’s dream spirals in a tailspin as secrets and lies sweep him into a dangerous life.
One he wasn’t prepared for… and one he can no longer escape from.
Will Jared rise above the destruction or will his new circumstances be his undoing?
Find out in the next installment of The Six Series, End Note, a new-adult romance.

About the Author: Taken from her Facebook page

First and foremost, I am a reader. I love picking up a book and becoming a part of it. When my nose isn't stuck in a book, you can find me at my laptop. With fingers flying, I let the story inside my head out. I have two children who are the light of my life, and the reason I'm coloring my hair more often! My awesome husband, who's devotion and dedication are the reasons I've gotten to where I am now. 2 dogs, 3 cats and 1 turtle round off our 'little' family. While life might not be easy, it's pretty darn good! I am by no means an editor. I let that project stay where it belongs, with the professionals. To date, I have three published books. The Casted Series - Casted & Spelled and my newest series, The Six Series - The Summer I Fell and End Note.

** On a personal note.  Sonya is a really nice and sweet person that I have had the pleasure of speaking to quite a few times. I like how open and honest she is about her books.  I usually write authors if I enjoy their books because I am hoping that one day people will do the same with me.  I've enjoyed chatting with Sonya and getting to know her better. **
