Z is for Zolt Hamiliton (Being Zolt) By Dawna Raver

YES SOOOO LATE!  

But in all honesty the only reason I'm continuing the A to Z is because of this author and this book!  She deserves recognition and her book needs to be read! The Indulging series is the first erotica/NA series (Besides Fifty Shades of Grey of course) that I have ever read.

So Being Zolt is the second book in the Indulging series. It follows Irelyn a sheltered girl who has only had one boyfriend before, her brother's friend Marcus. When Irelyn was younger she was at a football game where Zolt was the star quarterback and ended up getting hurt. During that time they had a connection and it followed them all the way until she was in college. Neither one knew the other, they just both felt that initial spark.

When Zolt becomes a lawyer at her dad's law firm the chemistry flies and soon Irelyn and Zolt are having major feelings for each other. The second book picks up on the cliffhanger from the first book.  I personally love cliffhangers because it makes me want the new book immediately. Although Zolt and Irelyn are great characters I think my favorite character is Sloan, Zolt's friend and bodyguard.  Who, fortunately for me, was able to get his own book with Saving Kenna. I really connected with all the characters in the Indulging series but Sloan probably more than everyone else.  I love how Zolt's alpha male is randomly broken with his past demons. I love how the twists and turns with Marcus are approached in this book and mostly how I went "HOLY CRAP" and "YES" when certain things happened.  If you like erotica/NA and brooding male characters with a whole lot of stamina and class then the Indulging series is definitely for you!
