G is for the Game On Series by Kyra Lennon

My "G" book series just so happens to be one of the first indie books I ever read. I happened to stumble upon a book giveaway.  During that I met the author and one a free e-book. Soon I was falling in love with her soccer world and her characters and couldn't get enough of them.

 The Game On Series follows the Westberg Warriors, a successful American soccer team based out of LA.  In the first book Game On, Leah is a girl who transplants from England where she gets hired on as a physiotherapist for the team.  There Leah is fleeing some skeletons of her past. What she didn't plan on is meeting Radleigh McCoy a serial womanizer who makes her realize that even though she thinks she has changed maybe she really hasn't changed at all. I loved the Game On Series, I actually read them backwards because I started with Sidelined and then read Game On and finally Blindsided.  I'm over here doing jumping jacks while I wait for book 4, Play On to come out as well. (Sidelined is my favorite of the series by far though, I just fell in love with Bree!)

I thought Radleigh and Leah had a toxic but sexy relationship.  I ended up having one of my first book hangovers staying up all night reading the book because I just couldn't put it down. 

Radleigh was that bad boy.  The ones I fell for in high school. You can't help falling for him. And though I found Leah fickle and flighty I still ended up loving her in the books. If you like bad boys, sport romances, and great relationships then the Game On Series are the books for you.

After swapping her small town life to work for one of the top soccer teams in the U.S, Leah Walker thought she could finally leave the ghosts of her past behind.
